Posted: Updated:
Reno firefighters have identified the woman who died of injuries suffered in a townhome fire late Sunday night.

Firefighters say neighbors pulled 61-year-old Michelle Sherman from the two-story building, located in the 7600 block of Rhinestone Circle near Longley Lane and South Virginia Street.

They say she suffered second-degree burns to half her body and was eventually transported to the UC Davis Burn Center where she died Tuesday morning.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

In addition, one neighbor and one firefighter were treated for heat-related injuries.
