Sportsman's Warehouse Burglary Suspects Arrested in California

Posted: Updated:
Authorities in California have two suspects in custody in connection with a burglary at the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Reno.

Police say deputies in Nevada County arrested 28-year-old Keegan Vaughn and 26-year-old Crystal Rice Tuesday night after they say they led officers on a high speed chase after being spotted at the Cabela's in Reno yesterday evening.

They were eventually stopped near Floriston after officers say their vehicle hit several concrete dividers, causing its tires to go flat. The duo then fled on foot but were eventually found by law enforcement.

Police say they found numerous stolen handguns in the vehicle.

The suspects are expected to face additional charges after they are extradited to Nevada.

Police say the duo stole at least 16 handguns from the Kietzke Lane store late Monday night.
