Suspect Sought in Sparks Home Burglary

Sparks Police are asking for the public's help finding the suspect in a home burglary that happened Friday night. 

They say around 1:45 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress at a home near Palo Alto Circle and Santa Barbara Avenue in Wingfield Springs. 

The female victim in the home told police them the suspect had entered through a rear sliding window. When they arrived, they say he ran out the back of the house, jumped the fence and fled westbound through the area.

The suspect is described as white, between the ages of 25 and 33, about 6'0" and 160 to 180 pounds with a lean, average build. He has brown eyes and dark brown hair with a well groomed beard. He was last seen wearing a dirty, white t-shirt and black cargo shorts. The suspect also had at least one tattoo on his left arm with black ink. Police say it may be some type of tribal design. Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect.
