Posted: Updated:
Renown Health introduced its new president and CEO during a press conference on Thursday, Dr. Anthony Slonim.

With more than 15 years of executive leadership experience, Dr. Slonim recently came to us from Baranabas Health in New Jersey.

He was selected out of more than 100 applicants in 41 states.

He's been working with staff on a three to five year strategic plan to help with the community's health care needs.

“Not only the acute health care needs, the entire spectrum of care from wellness and prevention, make sure that we're keeping a healthy community to make sure we're meeting our community members before they become patients.”

Dr. Slonim has been board certified in many disciplines like internal medicine and pediatric care.

Our KTVN newsroom often hears from concerned parents about the lice policy in area schools. Students are not sent home if they have lice since it is more of a nuisance than a serious health risk. If you child brings home the bugs, there is a new clinic to help treat the infestation. We take you to Lice Clinics of America – Reno.
