Repeat Offender Sentenced to Prison

Posted: Updated:
Reno Police say 49-year-old Daniel Rosenberg pleaded guilty to armed robbery and embezzlement earlier this year and was sentenced to 10 years to life in prison for repeat offenses along with two to five years for the original charges.

In August of 2013, Rosenberg was working as a manager at a local bar and grill in Reno. Police say the owners of the business discovered that approximately $6,000 was missing from one of their safes’ and suspected Rosenberg. While detectives were beginning to investigate this case, police say an armed robbery occurred at Dotty’s Casino and evidence left at that scene implicated Rosenberg.

Detectives arrested Rosenberg on August 15th.

Police say Rosenberg has 18 prior felony convictions spanning from 1993.
