Reno Police Searching for Shooting Suspect

Posted: Updated:
Reno police are investigating a shooting that left a man in serious condition early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a motel at 1650 E 4th Street around 2:40 a.m.

When they arrived they saw a green 4-door sedan with California plates trying to leave the scene.  When they stopped the car they found two black men inside, one of whom had been shot at least twice.

The injured man was taken to the hospital where he is in serious, but stable condition.  So far police do not have any description of a suspect and are still trying to uncover a motive for the shooting.

If you know anything that can help investigators, call the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, Secret Witness at 322-4900, or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411). A $1,000 reward is being offered.
