Carson City Deputies Locate Missing 12-Year-Old Girl

UPDATE: The Carson City Sheriff's Office located the missing juvenile at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday morning. She has been released into the custody of Douglas County Juvenile Probation.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office needs your help finding a runaway girl.

On Saturday, June 21, 2014, 12-year-old Cara Breann Valerie (Valerie is her last name) ran away from her grandparent’s home in Minden.

Cara is believed to have run away to the Reno/Sparks area. Cara may possibly be in the company of an unknown age male, named Samson Martinez.

Cara is described as Caucasian, with brown shoulder-length straight hair, blue eyes, is approximately 4 feet tall, weighing approximately 80 pounds.

Cara was last known to be wearing a white tank top, jean shorts, and black shoes. She left the residence with a blue backpack.
