Community Notification: Tier III Sex Offenders Move to Reno

The Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit (RSONU) is informing the general public of informational matters related to two Tier III (High Risk) Sex Offenders.
 
Mr. Troy Eugene Seymour, age 48, has been assessed as a Tier III Sex Offender by the State of Nevada Sex Offender Registry.  The RSONU has been notified that he will be homeless, frequenting the downtown Reno area, and that he is currently unemployed.           
 
Mr. Seymour is in compliance with all Sex Offender laws, and is not wanted by law enforcement. 

Mr. Seymour is currently not being supervised by the State of Nevada, Department of Public Safety, Division of Parole and Probation.

Mr. Donald James Pennington, age 59, has been assessed as a Tier III Sex Offender by the State of Nevada Sex Offender Registry.  The RSONU has been notified that he will be residing in the 800 block of  Locust Street, and will be attending classes in the 7000 block of Dandini Boulevard.          
 
Mr. Pennington is in compliance with all Sex Offender laws, and is not wanted by law enforcement. 
 
Mr. Pennington is not currently being supervised by the State of Nevada, Department of Public Safety, Division of Parole and Probation.

Anyone with questions about this offender can call the RSONU at 775-353-2244, Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm.  
 
Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will NOT be tolerated.  Any threats, intimidation or harassment against the offender is unlawful, and could subject the individual engaging in such an act to criminal prosecution, in addition to possible civil liability.
 
The RSONU is a collaborative effort between law enforcement in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County, to monitor and enforce the requirements set forth in the Nevada Revised Statutes for Registered Sex Offenders.
