Posted: Updated:
Reno Police have arrested 62-year-old Phillip Sledd in connection with a stabbing that happened downtown Monday night.

Police say it happened at the homeless shelter on Record Street around 9:45 p.m. They say two men were fighting over a bottle of alcohol when one of them pulled a knife and stabbed the other.

They say REMSA transported the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sledd was booked into the Washoe County Jail for battery with a deadly weapon.
