Suspect Identified in Recent Arson Fires

Reno Police have arrested a man, suspected of setting four fires in the Reno area using Molotov cocktails.


Timothy Wayne Gray faces multiple arson charges, in connection with fires at these locations. 


June 13, 2014: 740 South Center Street

June 18, 2014: 528 Sinclair Street

June 20, 2014: Fourth and Virginia Streets

June 20, 2014: 10 Lake Street


That includes a fire at the National Automobile Museum, which damaged a vehicle on display.


"We are pleased to report to the community that we believe the threat from this arsonist has been resolved as a result of this arrest," says RFD Captain Tray Palmer.


Authorities say evidence collected at the scene linked the suspect to the fires.


Anyone with further information regarding the crimes are encouraged to call Reno Fire investigators at 334-2300.
