Suspect Arrested After Suspicious Death at Reno Motel

Posted: Updated:
A man has been arrested in connection with a suspicious death at a Reno motel.

Reno Police received a 911 call Sunday morning, saying a dead body had been found at the Lucky Motel on 4th and Spokane streets.

When officers arrived, they discovered a woman at the motel had been killed.

Investigators say they were then approached by a man, who claimed to be responsible for her death.

He has been identified as 61-year-old Zollie Dumas. He surrendered to authorities and was booked on a parole violation, pending results of a full murder investigation.

The name of the victim will not be released, until her family is notified.

Investigators are still looking for more information, and ask anyone who may know more to call Secret Witness at 322-4900.
