Evelyn Mount was at it again this weekend, collecting, sorting and offering help to those in need in East Reno. Every month she gives out food baskets to those who need the help. She even stock emergency baskets for families who can't make it to the end of the month. And today she added clothing and household items to the stockpile up for grabs.

They held the giveaway at Silverada Boulevard and Cannan Street in East Reno. And they had quite a bit to hand out and they also had a lot of takers.

"There are a lot of people in need right now," Mount said. "It makes me sad. Even little children come to my door asking for hot dogs and fruit and I feel so sad if I don't have things to give them."

The collections are continuous. If you are interested in helping out check out their website at :  https://www.facebook.com/.../Evelyn-Mounts-Community-Outreach.../
