Jerry Fenwick is an internationally known photographer whose work has spanned five decades. He will be lecturing about his work tonight at the Nevada Historical Society from 5pm-7pm. And work he has donated to the Nevada Historical Society will be auctioned off to benefit the museum.

Country Crossroads, Redneck Rodeo and Cowboy Crawl
This celebration of country music is a weekend affair at JA Nugget. It will include live music, a cowboy crawl and a redneck rodeo. Yee-haw!

This year the Reno Bike Project's annual Bike Swap will be held at the Reno Bike Project on East Fourth Street and it will be in conjunction with Positively Fourth Street which is a celebration of redeveloping that area.

Paint Tahoe Blue at Sand Harbor
Forty artists will be together capturing the beauty of Lake Tahoe this weekend. On Sunday they will set up easels and spend four hours recording the beauty of the area. You are invited to watch the artistic process, and the artwork will all be auctioned off. From 4pm-8pm.

    The list of legal problems for the Washoe School District grew this morning as the State Attorney General's Office filed six counts each against the six trustees involved in the Pedro Martinez suit. But The School Board's outside counsel says he began working on settlement in that matter since last Wednesday and able to file it immediately. The suit alleges the trustees made six different violations to the State Open Meeting Law and that they should be paying $500 per violation. Those violati...More >>
