Sparks Police Seek Wells Fargo Bank Robber

Sparks Police need your help finding a man they say robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at 400 North McCarran Blvd. late Friday morning.

Police say at 11:45am, the suspect approached a teller with a note advising he was armed and was robbing the bank. The teller gave the man some cash, and he then fled the bank through the north doors.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5’6’-5’10” with a medium build wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt, light blue jeans and a light colored baseball style cap.

Police say a weapon was not seen during the incident. No one was hurt.

Meanwhile, Reno Police are still looking for the man who robbed the Wells Fargo inside Scolari’s on Sharlands Avenue in northwest Reno on Monday.

Investigators say a man walked into the bank around 3pm and demanded money, before getting away.

Police say he made threats he had a weapon, but none was seen. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s, 5’9” and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, jeans and a black baseball cap.  

There’s no information at this time to indicate if these two cases are related.
