Sparks Police Arrest Man on Child Lewdness Charges

Sparks police have arrested a man accused of 10 counts of lewdness with a child under 14.

Officers arrested 48-year-old Kurt Winkelmann-Herreck Monday after getting a report alleging he had numerous lewd contacts with young children over four or five years...many of which happened in Sparks.

Police say the contact stopped in 2008 or 2009.

Investigators are not releasing any details to protect the identities of the victims in this case.
