On Wednesday, June 4, the National Automobile Museum (NAM), The Harrah Collection, will offer a rare experience with three amazing vehicles during the first ever "Test & Tune" from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Automotive experts will raise hoods, start engines, run test drives and even give lucky winners rides when the museum raffles off one ride in each car. Plus, locally brewed, handcrafted beer from Under the Rose Brewing Company and tasty bites from Gourmelt will be on sale. All members of the National Automobile Museum will receive an additional entry in a Members' Only Test Drive raffle and a free tasting flight of beer. The event is free and open to all NAM members with a special invitation extended to members of The Chamber and listeners of Martini Radio which will broadcast live from the event. Those wishing to attend Test & Tune can become a NAM member by contacting the Museum today or visiting www.automuseum.org.
"Test & Tune" is designed to give museum and community members a fun and exciting way to experience the museum. It's more than admiring exceptional cars simply on display. It's witnessing engines rumble to life, hearing each car's remarkable story from celebrity owners to golden dreams, and nestling in the passenger's seat for a ride back in time," said Jackie Frady, executive director of NAM.
The special cars being featured during Test & Tune will be a 1981 24-karat gold plated DeLorean, Frank Sinatra's 1961 Ghia L6.4 and an all-original 1927 Lincoln. Simply put, museum members and invited guests will have the opportunity to get to know these cars unlike ever before.
The National Automobile Museum's Test & Tune is open to NAM members, The Chamber members and Martini Radio listeners and will take place from 6 p.m. t 8 p. m. on Wednesday, June 4.
