Reno Police Seek Wells Fargo Bank Robber

Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to the man who robbed the Wells Fargo bank inside Scolari’s Food and Drug store in northwest Reno on Monday afternoon.

Police say the robbery happened around 3pm inside the Sharlands Avenue store. Investigators say a man walked into the bank and demanded money, before getting away.

Police say he made threats he had a weapon, but none was seen. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 30’s, 5’9” and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, jeans and a black baseball cap.
