Posted: Updated:
Secret Witness is offering a $1,500 reward for the arrest and prosecution of suspects who robbed a 101-year-old Carson City veteran at his home over the Memorial Day weekend.
According to Sheriff Ken Furlong, the robbers forced their way into the home of a World War II Air Force veteran around 5 a.m. Sunday at his home on Canvasback Drive. He says they were looking for a non-existent safe and one of the robbers had a gun.

Sheriff Furlong says the victim, Jim Sorentino, was at home with a caretaker when the suspects ransacked his home, but no one was injured during robbery.
The suspects are described as either black or Hispanic. Both are in their 20s. One is 5-foot-7, the other 5-foot-10.
They reportedly left in a blue or silver sedan.
