Police say they’ve arrested a Hug High School intervention specialist accused of giving two female students alcohol and marijuana.

A representative with the Washoe County School District says 28-year-old Ryan Johnson took the two girls to his house after lunch on Tuesday. They told their parents what happened when they returned to school.

School police investigated the incident, and Johnson was arrested at his home last night.

Johnson was booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to a minor. He also faces two misdemeanor charges.

His bail is set at $16,000.

According to Hug High School's website, Johnson recently worked as a football coach for the school, and served as a defensive coordinator.
