Reno Aces Announce Expanded Television Schedule

From the Reno Aces:

The Reno Aces Baseball Club and KAME-TV My21 will feature an expanded 16-game television schedule for the 2014 season, the organizations jointly announced today.

2011 served as a launching pad for KAME-TV My21 and the Aces as the two paired to bring Northern Nevada four televised games. In 2012 the schedule included 13 games, and now 16 games in 2014 including a pair of late May games against the Fresno Grizzlies, the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants.

“Our goal as an organization is to share Reno Aces baseball with as many in our community as possible,” said Aces Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Eric Edelstein. “Our new expanded schedule with KAME-TV My21 allows us to do just that, and reach an even larger audience than we have before.”

The broadcast slate begins on Thursday, May 8 as the Aces host the Tacoma Rainiers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. The schedule includes back-to-back games against Fresno (May 29, May 30) and a pair of games against rival Sacramento (July 4, August 7).

“My21 TV is thrilled to be bringing a 16-game broadcast with the Reno Aces to the marketplace,” said Amie Chapman, General Manager of My21 TV in Reno. “We realize the importance of locally produced content, and the locally-anchored post-game show.”

Ryan Radtke will return as the lead play-by-play voice for all 16 broadcasts. My21 TV can be found over the air on channel 21.1, Charter HD channel 787 and SD 7, Direct TV and Dish Network channel 21 as well as AT&T U-Verse HD channel 1021and SD 21. The post-game show will feature KRNV News-4 sports anchor’s Bryan Samudio and Alex Margulies.
