Lake Tahoe Basin Highway Improvements Underway; Delays Possible

Posted: Updated:
A few highway improvement projects around the Lake Tahoe Basin are back underway, and that could mean some delays.

Highway 50 will see some lane closures between the South Lake Tahoe Airport and the "Y" starting around 7-pm every night until October.

Johnson Pass Road to Incline Road will see daytime closures Monday through Thursday starting at 6 am. And areas on California Route 89 could mean 20 minute delays near Meeks Bay, Tahoe City and Squaw Valley.

And of course, Kingsbury Grade is still closed to through traffic at the summit this month.
