Posted: Updated:
From Washoe County:

The Washoe County Registrar of Voters reminds citizens who are not registered to vote that there’s still time to sign up before the Primary Elections June 10.

“To be eligible to vote in this year’s Primary Elections, Washoe County citizens can register by mail or at outside agencies like the DMV by May 10,” said Registrar Luanne Cutler. “After May 10, citizens can register to vote in person until May 20 at the Registrar of Voters Office, or on the Nevada Secretary of State’s website.”

Cutler added residents can pick up a registration form at the post offices or public libraries as well as at the DMV. Forms must be postmarked by May 10, 2014 or completed at DMV by May 10. To register in person, the Registrar of Voters Office is at 1001 E. Ninth St., Bldg A, in Reno.
Early voting begins May 24 and will run through June 6 at 16 locations throughout the County. Several polling locations will also be open on Sundays again this year. The exact hours and locations of the early voting sites are available online.
