Bundy Family to File Criminal Complaint Against BLM

Posted: Updated:
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Family members of a Nevada rancher who has been fighting the federal government over grazing rights have arrived at Las Vegas police headquarters to file criminal complaints.
Five family members of Cliven Bundy and several supporters came to the complex Friday, alleging federal agents committed crimes during a standoff that ended almost three weeks ago.
The Bureau of Land Management abandoned efforts to round up Bundy's cattle from public land April 12 after facing armed militia members at the site near Mesquite, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
Bundy has said armed agents illegally blocked roads, harassed photographers, used attack dogs, pointed weapons and threatened people during the confrontation.
Police Officer Larry Hadfield said complaints would be investigated and charges would be filed if crimes were committed.
