Nevada Highway Patrol says no one was seriously hurt after a SUV crashed into a second SUV on Kingsbury Grade Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened on State Route 207/Kingsbury Grade halfway down on the Valley side.

Troopers tell us a Ford Escape was heading down the hill when the unidentified driver crossed over the double yellow lines and hit a larger SUV which then caught fire.

Troopers say the people involved were already out of both vehicles when authorities arrived, but NHP says they were flown by Care Flight to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno as a precaution.

Authorities temporarily closed the roadway to clean up and investigate the accident scene.
