Police say two men have pleaded guilty and have been sentenced in the murder of a Sparks man that happened more than three years ago.

Last Tuesday, Sparks Police say 29-year-old Henry Toy was sentenced to 25 years in prison for aiding and abetting the second degree murder of Tommy Young, who was shot to death in 2010.

Back in January, 36-year-old D'Vaughn King was sentenced to life in prison with a possibility of parole after 10 years for the murder. He is currently serving eight years in a California prison for drug charges, after which he'll be sent to Nevada to begin serving the murder sentence.

Sparks Police say both men were involved in the shooting death of 35-year-old Young on York Way back on November 5, 2010. The night of the murder, Reno police found Toy shot in the legs in downtown Reno, and later learned he was involved in the murder.

Police say the resulting investigation led them to Stockton and Sacramento.

Police say King knew the murder victim through drug deals.
