Studio Audience Wanted for 'The People's Law School'

Learn out about our legal system and the Nevada laws that affect you!  Presented as a FREE public service by the Nevada Foundation for Consumer Education, in conjunction with the Nevada Justice Association, The People's Law School is a unique public seminar series.  

Since 1985, The People's Law School has provided up-to-date information on the legal system, legislative process and specific areas most affecting Nevadans. Topics covered this year include foreclosure mediation, bankruptcy, elder law and estate planning, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, divorce & custody, employee rights, elder abuse and more. Entertaining and informative presentations will be filmed by expert attorneys.

Attendance and participation in the studio audience is completely free and open to all. The filming will take place at the KNPB studios located at 1670 N. Virginia Street on the UNR campus on April 2nd and 3rd from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the audience is invited to stay for as few or many presentations as they like.

    Reno 1868 FC players are once again kings of goal scoring in North America after the team recorded six goals in a rout of Portland Timbers 2 Saturday night. Playoff-bound Reno crushed Portland 6-1 in front of 5,640 fans, putting the club up to 69 regular season goals this year (a USL record).
