Reno Police Identify Woman Killed in Hit & Run Near Mae Anne

Reno police have identified the woman killed in a hit and run accident late last month at the intersection of Mae Anne Avenue and Sierra Highlands Drive.

Police say on March 27th around 8pm, 50-year-old Dianne Lane was crossing Mae Anne between Coit Plaza and Sierra Highlands when she was hit by an unknown dark colored pickup truck. Witnesses say she was north lane of Mae Anne.

Police say the truck was last seen heading north on Sierra Highlands.  

Police say Lane was not in a marked crosswalk. She died on scene.
