Entertainment headliners for 2014 Hot August Nights have been announced, and it's a lineup that is sure to keep the crowds on their feet during the weeklong annual celebration of America's love affair with cars and rock ‘n' roll.

Performances will kick off Tuesday, July 29 and go until Saturday, August 2. And what's a little bit of rock ‘n' roll without a little bit of country? On Friday, August 1 for the first time ever Hot August Nights introduces Country Night, starring Darryl Worely.

"We are very excited to wrestle into our wranglers and slip on our cowboy boots," said Tony Marini, Executive Director of Hot August Nights. "It will be a night to remember and a little something different for Hot August Nights with all that join in on the festivities, but not to worry we haven't lost that lovin' feeling as The Righteous Brothers' Bill Medley takes the stage on Saturday night at Grand Sierra."

Darryl Worely, known as a genuinely traditional country artist from Nashville who doesn't follow trends or fads, but rather his own bedrock convictions. With twenty hit singles, including three number one songs: "I Miss My Friend", "Have You Forgotten", and "Awful, Beautiful Life" this is one show crowds will kick their heels up for. Five lucky winners will also receive a Darryl Worely Prize Package with details to be announced shortly.

Along with a Country Night, to keep the tradition alive, memorable rock ‘n' roll acts from the 50's, 60's, and 70's, with some of the top tribute acts in the country will be featured ranging from: Chicago Tribute Authority, Nathan Owen Motown Legends, and "Somethin' tells me I'm into something good" Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone, with more acts listed below.
