Fire Safety, Preparedness Open House in Sparks Wednesday

The City of Sparks Fire Department will hold a fire safety and preparedness open house Wednesday afternoon at Fire Station 2.

Free strobe alarms and vibrating alert smoke detectors will be given out to deaf or hard of hearing families. Alarms will be also be installed at no charge.

Fire Station 2 is located at 2900 North Truckee Lane in Sparks. The open house is 3pm-6pm and is being held in conjunction with the Washoe County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
