Free Car Seat Safety Check Saturday

Posted: Updated:

You can make sure your child's car seat is properly installed at an event Saturday at the Northern Nevada Medical Group's Spanish Springs location at 5070 Ion Drive.

REMSA is partnering with the group for the 10am-1pm inspection checkpoint.

Safety technicians will make sure the seat is properly installed and the right kind for the age and weight of your child. Parents should plan to spend 30 minutes with the volunteer team - and longer for more than one car seat.

REMSA says 3 out of 4 car seats are not installed correctly.

For more information, call 775-858-KIDS.
