Man Arrested After Allegedly Putting Gun to Teen's Head

Posted: Updated:

On Wednesday evening El Dorado County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 2900 block of Spruce Street in Pollock Pines on a report of suspicious shots fired and subjects arguing about a gun.

Deputies say when they arrived, they identified a 15 year old boy who reported that he had been thrown to the ground by an adult man. The suspect allegedly held a semi-automatic handgun to the teen's head and threatened to end his life.

The suspect fired multiple gunshots, however the teen was not injured during the incident. The suspect was quickly identified as Lawrence Stone of Fernley.

Stone was quickly located inside of a relative's nearby apartment. Stone was cooperative with deputies and taken into custody.

While taking Stone into custody, deputies found him to be in possession of a loaded semi automatic handgun.
