Free Health Clinics in Reno This Week

April 11th, 12th and 13th- Remote Area Medical (RAM), an organization dedicated to providing free, quality health care services to those in need, will host a FREE 3-day clinic for both adults and children of Northern Nevada on Friday April 11, Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13 at Hug High School at 2880 Sutro Street in Reno.

Free services include dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions, complete eye exams and free glasses, vaccinations, mental health screenings and referrals, and general medical consultations. RAM has the capacity to serve up to 600 people per day. There is no cost to patients and patients do not need to show identification or register for the event. However, guardians of minors must be present to give consent for services to minors. It is a first come, first served event.  Patients are asked to bring a list of any medications they are currently taking.

Numbers for clinic admission will begin at 3:30 a.m. each day and admission will be on a first come, first served basis. Patients will begin to be seen at 6 a.m. on all three days.

People should come prepared to stay on-site by bringing their own snacks, water and lawn chairs.  Portable toilets will be available.

Friday April 11: 6am-4pm
Saturday April 12: 6am-4pm
Sunday April 13: 6am-1pm

From Immunize Nevada:

Hepatitis A vaccines for adults and influenza vaccines for anyone 6-months and older will be offered as part of the Remote Area Medical (RAM) Clinic Event this week. The immunizations will be available on a first come-first serve basis while supplies last. There is no cost to patients, and no need to show identification, however immunizations will only be available during designated immunization clinic hours.

(Please note Immunization Clinic hours differ from the complete RAM schedule).
Friday, April 11: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 12: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
