NHP Reports Calm Celebrations for St. Patrick's Day

Posted: Updated:

The Nevada Highway Patrol reports a relatively calm St. Patrick's Day for celebrations. Troopers only made 2 DUI arrests in the Reno-Sparks area during the hours of 8pm and 12 midnight.

Also, NHP troopers say they did not investigate any major or serious injury accidents during the same timeframe.

Troopers attributes the low numbers to RTC offering free bus rides and AAA offering free tows for the holiday.
