Sparks Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

Sparks Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store on Sunday afternoon.

A man walked into the Safe Mini Mart on Rock Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. The man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk opened the register and gave the suspect some cash. According to the clerk, the man had a "large caliber handgun or possibly, a sawed-off shotgun."

Police describe the suspect as a Black or Hispanic man around 30 years old. He's 5'8" to 5'11", and 150 to 175 pounds. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark-colored sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and black and white tennis shoes.
