Free Housing, Consumer Protection Workshop in Sparks

You can learn more about housing and consumer protection at a free workshop Tuesday inside Sparks City Hall at 745 4th Street.  

The 5:30pm workshop will address changing trends in the Nevada housing market and will re-introduce new opportunities for assistance with services such as credit restoration, modifying a home loan and home-buying. The workshop will provide residents with information regarding housing and consumer protection resources available on both a state and federal level.

Housing counselors will also be on-site to answer questions and schedule follow up appointments.

The workshop is sponsored by Home Again, a free statewide program initiated by the Nevada Attorney General and administered by the Financial Guidance Center.

Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Sparks Mayor Geno Martini, Sparks City Councilwoman Julia Ratti and Michele Johnson of the Financial Guidance Center will attend the workshop.
