Does your child's school need some upgrades? Right now, Dolan Auto Group is hosting a contest to give away $10,000 to three Northern Nevada schools for improvement.
The contest is happening on the Dolan Auto Facebook page - and eventually you'll be able to vote for the winner.
Entries are limited to one entry per school and all entries must be submitted by the school's principal.
Schools will be divided into three categories: Elementary, Middle and High School. One school from each category will win $10,000 to fund their proposed school upgrade.
"Providing students with sufficient facilities is essential to their learning experience as a whole," Ryan Dolan, CEO of Dolan Auto Group, said. "We understand that times are difficult for our local schools and try to do everything we can to show our support for education."
Entrants must be an employed public school principal in one of the following counties: Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Humboldt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey and Washoe at the time of entry. Publicly-funded elementary or secondary charter schools are eligible.
In order to reach as many schools as possible, previous School Upgrade winners are not eligible.
Entries will be now accepted through March 5th -- then voting starts on March 10th.
