Nevada Ends Five Game Losing Streak by Beating Air Force 75-56
The Nevada Men's Basketball team ended their 5 game losing streak Saturday afternoon by beating the Air Force Academy 75-56.
The Pack scored the first 10 points of the game but the Falcons got within 4 points near the end of the first half.
However Nevada came out hot in the second half and ultimately pulled away winning by 19 points, their largest margin of victory this season.
Deonte Burton led the Pack with 21 points in the win. He now has scored 2,016 points during his career at Nevada. He is the second player in Wolf Pack history to eclipse the 2,000 point barrier. The First was Nick Fazekas.
Mike Perez had 12 points for Nevada, while Cole Huff and Jerry Evans Jr. each had 11. Evans Jr., recorded a Double-Double with 11points and 13 rebounds.
The Wolf Pack will return to action on Sunday March 2nd at Lawlor Events Center as they host the New Mexico Lobos. Game will tip off at 3pm, and it is a "White Out" game.
