Charity Dodgeball Tournament to Benefit Mom Fighting Melanoma

A charity dodgeball tournament will be held Friday night at Pau Wa Lu Middle School in Gardnerville Ranchos. Proceeds will benefit a young mother fighting melanoma.

Members of the East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts will take on members of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

Tickets cost $20 per family or $10 per person.

Pau Wa Lu Middle School is located at 701 Long Valley Road.

33-year-old Elisa Storke is currently on chemotherapy - and is expected to undergo treatments the rest of her life.

Then on Saturday, CCF Camie Cragg Fitness and Functional Athletic Sports Training (FAST) in Reno will hold a fundraising class 7am-8:30am. There's a $10 minimum donation and all donations will be made to the Storke family.

A silent auction will also happen and raffle prizes will be given out.

FAST is located at 4655 Longley Lane Suite 107 and CCF is at 3865 Mira Loma Drive.

Participants will first meet at CCF, and then some will split up and take classes at both locations.
