Police say they've arrested a man and a woman after they tried to steal a motorcycle and 4-wheeler Monday morning from Michael's Reno Powersports.

Reno Police officers and Washoe County deputies both responded to the South Virginia Street business around 7:45am after a concerned citizen told a Washoe County Sheriff's Deputy who happened to be at a gas station across the street. "That citizen did an awesome job and it's what we like to see in our community and helping the community, help the police department," says Sgt. Wade Clark.

When authorities arrived, they say they saw the duo trying to steal a motorcycle and a 4-wheeler.

Authorities then used a K9 to search the business property to ensure no one else was involved.

During the investigation officers say they learned that the suspects cut the chain link fence on the south side of the business to gain access to the closed property.

35-year-old Travis Fonnesbeck and 44-year-old Clare Boland were arrested in connection with the case. They face several charges including possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of burglary tools.

As of right now, authorities don't know the relationship between the two suspects.
