Squaw Valley's Julia Mancuso captured bronze in the women's super-combined for her fourth career Olympic medal. No other American woman has won more than two medals in Olympic Alpine skiing. Mancuso won gold in the giant slalom in the 2006 Games in Italy as well as silvers in the downhill and super-combined four years ago in Vancouver.

Despite leading the super-combined after the downhill portion of the event and not winning, Mancuso is thrilled with the bronze as slalom racing has never been her specialty.

The winner of the race was Germany's Maria Hoefl-Riesch, who has now won back to back gold in the event.
