Reno Bighorns Day at Eyezone Helps Kids See More Clear

Posted: Updated:

A local optometrist and the Reno Bighorns teamed up Saturday to give kids some better vision.

Some of the team's players and the Lady Bighorns Dancers helped the kids try on glasses.

It was all part of "Bighorns Day" at Eyezone on South McCarran Boulevard in Reno.

Dr. Daniel Rowan gave free eye exams and free glasses to kids of all ages.

"Really just a way to give back to the community, and give these kids access to health care they wouldn't otherwise have," he said.

Dr. Rowan is also the optometrist for the Reno Bighorns.
