Inmate Dies at Northern Nevada Correctional Center

The Nevada Department of Corrections says an inmate has died at the Northern Nevada Correctional Center in Carson City.

Authorities say Henry Foggy died Thursday while in the Regional Medical Facility at the center. He died of complications from an undisclosed medical condition.

The 79-year-old had been serving time from Clark County for murder in the first degree with a use of a deadly weapon enhancement; and ex-felon/prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

He was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole.

Foggy had been incarcerated with the NDOC since April 1996.

An autopsy will be conducted, and next of kin were notified.
