Terilyn Moe led three Nevada players in double figures as the Wolf Pack women's basketball team knocked off Wyoming 72-69 in front of a strong crowd at Lawlor Events Center on Saturday.

The Wolf Pack led by as a many as 11 points in the second half but then had to hang on down the stretch to end a seven-game losing streak to the Cowgirls. The Pack's last win over Wyoming came in the 2000-01 season.

Nevada improved to 9-9 overall and 4-3 in MW play. Wyoming fell to 12-5 and 3-3. Nevada has won two games in a row and four of its last five.

Moe had four assists to go with her 17 points. Danika Sharp scored 16 before fouling out and Mimi Mungedi added 11 points. It was the Wolf Pack's first win of the year when getting out-rebounded as Wyoming held a 47-36 edge on the boards.

Wyoming's Kaitlyn Mileto led all scorers with 25 and Fallon Lewis had 22 for Wyoming.

Nevada's feisty defense forced 17 turnovers from a Wyoming squad that entered the game averaging just over 11 per contest. The Pack also held Kayla Woodward, the MW preseason player of the year, to just four points on 2-of-13 shooting.

A total of 1,671 saw the game – the second-largest crowd of the season for Nevada. Prior to the game, the Wolf Pack athletics department held its annual All-Sports Clinic at Lawlor.

The Wolf Pack will be back in action Wednesday when it hits the road for a two-game road trip. First up is a match up at Colorado State on Wednesday night in Fort Collins. The Wolf Pack will remain on the road and play at Air Force on Saturday afternoon.
