The City of Reno says The Cheesecake Factory has filed a property submittal for a location in the Biggest Little City.

According to the documents, the project would occupy more than 8,000 square feet in Meadowood Mall, and would include more than 1,700 feet of patio space.

So far, Meadowood Mall refuses to comment on any plans.

In a statement a representative for The Cheesecake Factory said: "The restaurant development team is always on the look-out for A1 sites to further grow our Cheesecake Factory brand presence, and all sites that fit our criteria for success will be seriously considered."
