Wolf Pack Running Back Arrested on Domestic Battery Charge

Posted: Updated:

Wolf Pack Running Back Chris Solomon has been suspended by the team after being arrested for first degree domestic battery on Sunday.

Police say they responded to the 4900 block of West 7th Street around 4am on a call of a family disturbance. When they arrived, they say they saw evidence that indicated Solomon had battered his girlfriend, as she suffered unknown injuries.

As a result, police arrested Solomon for domestic battery (1st offense).

Nevada Head Football Coach Brian Polian has said in a release: "We are aware of the incident and Chris has been suspended from the team as we continue to gather more information."

Solomon was released on $3,000 bail from the Washoe County Detention Facility.
