Chloe Beardsley came to Channel 2 News in December 2013 from Central Coast News in California where she worked as the morning weather anchor. She was born here in Reno at Saint Mary's Hospital! Chloe grew up in Dutch Harbor and Wasilla, Alaska before moving to Edmonds, WA with her family in 2000.
Chloe went to college in Pullman, WA where she graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Political Science. After graduating, Chloe began working as a reporter in Tri-Cities, WA for KNDU/KNDO. Within six months she was promoted to KNDU's sister station, Central Coast News (KION/KCBA/KCOY/KKFX), in California where she started off working as a general assignment reporter. A few months after reporting, Chloe was given the opportunity to learn how to do weather. Starting off on the weekends, Chloe would forecast weather for a dual-market station which covered Monterey and Santa Cruz County all the way down to San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County. Two months after that, she was promoted to the morning anchor on Wake Up Central Coast.
Chloe is thrilled to join the Channel 2 News team where she works as the weekend weather anchor! Some of her favorite hobbies include volunteering, coaching basketball, spending time outdoors, working with animals and hanging out with family and friends.
