Washoe Sheriff Haley Says he Won't Seek Third Term

Channel 2 News has just learned that current Washoe County Sheriff Mike Haley will not run for a third term in the upcoming election.

Haley tells us he will complete his current term. He took office in January 2007.

Haley says he doesn't have any immediate future plans at this time.

Haley began his career as a Deputy in 1980; he has worked in and supervised every division within the Sheriff's Office including Administration, Detectives, Patrol, and Detention.
