Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in south Reno says it has installed two complimentary car charging stations for public use.

The stations are located behind the marquee and are marked with green paint.

Atlantis says this is just the latest addition of its ongoing energy-saving efforts. It also has an organics recycling program, light sensors in all hotel bathrooms, outside public areas, and glass units, and variable speed drives on domestic heating and cooling water pumps.

Atlantis joins Harrah's in downtown Reno and Lake Tahoe and Harvey's at Lake Tahoe in offering car charging stations. The University of Nevada also has two stations.
