The Churchill County Sheriff's Office has identified human remains found last August in a shallow grave north of the Jessup exit off of I-80.

Through DNA, deputies say the remains have been identified as 42-year-old Kimberly Seldon (a.k.a. Aporff).

Authorities say she was reported missing to the Reno Police Department in December 2012, but was last seen in May 2012. They say she went by the name 'Kimmie' and was known to work along the Fourth Street Corridor in Reno.

Her family has been notified.

No cause of death has been determined. Detectives say she apparently had extensive injuries to her jaw and ribs within about two months of her death.

Deputies issued a composite sketch of her in November after the case remained unsolved.

If you have any information on this case, you're urged to call the Churchill County Sheriff's Office at 775-423-3116 or call Secret Witness at 775-423-0110 or go online to www.secretwitness.com. Your information will remain anonymous and you could be eligible for a reward.
