Fallon Police report that they are searching for a 14-year-old girl who they believe has been taken by her non-custodial father.

On Saturday, January 4th just after 10 p.m. officers learned that the girl had been allowed to visit her father, but that he had not yet returned her.

FPD says that the suspect, Inshan "Shan" Ross has been attempting to reconnect with his daughter. The girl's mother, Stacey Bowles, allowed him to visit with the child, for a short time on Saturday, but some time after Ross picked up the girl he told the mother he wouldn't return the girl.

Fallon Police have asked Reno Police to check for Ross, who may be staying in a motel in Reno.

Inshan "Shan" Ross is described as a white man, who is 6' 0" tall and weighs 236 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. He may be driving a silver 2006 Honda Accord with California license plates 6MLR936

The missing girl is described as a 14-year-old white female roughly 5' tall weighing 80 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Fallon PD says they are not releasing the child's name or a picture of her.
